JOIN A COMMITTEE

Committees play an essential role in the AABIP operations. Joining a committee allows you to play a bigger role in the organizations major initiatives and to give back to the organization and the field of Interventional Pulmonology and Bronchology.

COMMITTEE MEMBER EXPECTATIONS

Committees are charged with ensuring that the AABIP is effectively meeting its mission and goals. The AABIP strives to ensure diversity and inclusion is represented in committee compositions.

In addition to the committee’s charges and goals, you must:
  • Be an active member of the AABIP
  • Be prepared to dedicate no less than 2 hours each month to the work of the committee, including participation in monthly meetings and projects
  • Demonstrate a professional background or interest that can enhance the objectives of the committee
