Activity: AABIP Education Committee – IP Fellow Committee Member

The AABIP Education Committee (EC) is currently accepting applications from our IP Fellow members. This is a leadership opportunity that enables you to engage meaningfully in your chosen field and will provide you with valuable experience for the future.   

Education Committee Goals

The Education Committee seeks to provide educational resources that advance the field of Interventional Pulmonology and promote learning opportunities to enhance the knowledge and practice of our membership.

The Education Committee oversees the development of various educational courses and symposiums during annual national meetings, such as the AABIP conference and Chest. Some of the other educational activities under the auspices of this committee include the IP Fellowship Boot Camps, webinars, podcasts, and journal clubs.

Composition and Term of Office 

The IP Fellow member is expected to serve on the Education Committee and provide a unique trainee perspective that is invaluable in the development of educational resources. The term of service is one (1) year, but based on committee performance and participation the IP Fellow member may be retained as the General Member for an additional year.  

Criteria for selection

We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated, hardworking and passionate about IP Education. Demonstrated abilities and prior experience with innovative educational endeavors will be prioritized.
