Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Interventional Pulmonology

The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), Portland, seeks an advanced practice provider to join our Interventional Pulmonology team.

The APP in this role would be working in a multidisciplinary team model in partnership with the IP attending in evaluating and managing patients. The APP is also expected to work independently in medical decision-making, care-coordination, interpreting reports from diagnostic imaging, pathology, and other clinical studies within the scope of their training and responsibilities. Opportunities to directly perform unsupervised minor procedures and independently interpret diagnostic studies are available. Work environment is a mix of in-patient and out-patient settings.

Applicants must be certified and have two years of experience as either a Nursing Advanced Practice Provider or a Physician Assistant Advanced Practice Provider. Experience in performing and or assisting in pulmonary procedures and prior work experience in pulmonary, ICU, IR, or thoracic surgery is strongly preferred.
